Community Development Manager

I joined Waltham Community Cottage in 2017 as the Community Wellbeing Coordinator and took over as Community Development Manager after Adrienne Carmichael retired at the end of March 2021. I will ensure, through networking, funding and valuing community knowledge that the community continues to have a place at the Cottage where development and personal growth happens.

Community Programme Coordinator

Kia Ora, I have been with the cottage since 2021 and feel like it’s my second home. I have a background in mentoring and supporting youth and have previously run physical activity and cooking courses. My role is to encourage and support community members to participate in the cottage programmes and ensure they are what the community needs. I am always here for a friendly chat so pop in anytime.

Treasurer/Funding Officer

My position involves keeping things ticking over financially. This means applying for funding and managing the finances. I have had many years experience working for not-for-profit organisations and have been with Waltham Community Cottage since May 2016.
